high tack PP adhesive packaging tape
tesa 4280 PV0 is constructed with a 25 µm polypropylene film and synthetic rubber adhesive. The high tack and the short time necessary to reach final adhesion favor rapid closure of light and medium weight cartons.
Indicative technical data
- Total thickness: 42 µm.
- Adhesion to steel: 4.8 N/cm.
- Tensile strength: 40 N/cm; elongation at break: 145%.
- Can be applied manually with dispenser or on compatible automatic equipment.
The brown version is suitable for closing, packaging and grouping indoors and at moderate temperatures.
Application check: type of cardboard, dust, recycled, weight of the package and application temperature influence the seal; test the real cycle before standardization.
