Cookies and privacy preferences

Statistics are enabled only with your permission. Choose Necessary only, Allow or close the panel to continue without statistics. Refusing does not prevent you from using the website.

Sessions, access and security

The technical cookie dpm_live_session maintains sessions, authentication, language, the cart and protection of forms against unwanted requests (CSRF). It uses HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax and also Secure on this HTTPS website. Its lifetime depends on the session and requested features: the browser may remove it on closing or retain it when the session is persistent. Deleting it may require you to log in again and reinitialise the cart. Tools strictly necessary for the requested service do not require prior consent.

Remember this device

If you choose to remember a device after access verification, the dpm_live_customer_trusted_device cookie recognises it on subsequent logins for up to 30 days in the standard configuration. It is optional and supports account security, not advertising. You can delete it in the browser; device revocation or credential changes may invalidate it before expiry.

Local storage and preferences

The local key dpm-analytics-choice-v2 and the technical cookie dpm_cookie_consent remember your choice for six calendar months. The choice cookie uses Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. Your preference is not linked to your account and does not permit advertising. The technical log retains your choice, a random reference, the notice version and the time for 12 months; it contains no IP address, user agent, email, orders or browsing history. Other display preferences may remain in local storage until you clear website data. The former key dpm-cookie-notice-v1 does not constitute consent to statistics.

Optional statistics — Google Analytics 4

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited together with the companies and suppliers identified in Google’s terms. We measure visits to public pages and products and clicks on phone or email contacts; a click does not prove that a request was submitted. Processing involves pseudonymous browser identifiers and technical and interaction information. Connecting to Google also transmits the IP address and information required for communication. This does not automatically make the data anonymous.

The Google tag is not loaded and no Analytics requests are sent before acceptance. Basic consent mode sends no cookieless pings when you refuse. Advertising permissions remain denied; we do not enable Google Signals, remarketing or personalised ads. Automatic measurement of forms, searches and page changes is disabled. The Customer Area, sign-in, checkout and pages with unrecognised parameters are excluded from measurement. We do not send names, emails, search text, form values, customer references or payment data to Analytics.

The statistical cookies _ga and _ga_EES9YEYP1V are set only after consent, for up to 180 days without renewal on each visit. Analytics events and user data are retained for 14 months; new activity does not restart the user retention period. Aggregate reports may remain available beyond that period. Cookie lifetime in the browser differs from data retention at Google.

Choice, refusal and withdrawal

The legal basis for optional statistics is consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code. Tools strictly necessary for the service you request do not require this consent. Continuing to browse or scrolling does not mean acceptance.

You can reopen Privacy preferences and choose Necessary only at any time. We stop subsequent transmissions and remove accessible Analytics cookies on the domain; withdrawal does not invalidate earlier processing or automatically erase existing reports. Contact the controller listed in the privacy notice to exercise data rights. We normally do not ask again before six months, unless processing changes substantially or your choice cannot be recovered, for example after clearing browser data.

Checkout, addresses and photo search

Payment features may connect your browser to Stripe, PayPal and the selected payment method, which apply their own security and cookie rules. Where configured, Google Places and address validation may be called while you enter the delivery address; these are not audience analytics services. Photo search uses your image only when you upload it to request that feature and indicates whether OpenAI performs the analysis. Details of the data processed and providers' notices are available in the privacy notice.

Videos, images and external links

Product videos load after you request them using “Load video”. Some images may be requested from manufacturers', distributors' or content delivery domains: their operators receive at least the technical data required for the connection. Where applicable, the domains used for public images are listed below. Social, Amazon and other links open external services with their own notices; Amazon links may be affiliate links. DPM does not determine the cookies installed on the external website.

Managing browser data

You can inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings, including for the DPM Tapes domain only. Blocking necessary tools may prevent sign-in, form submission or checkout. Your statistics choice concerns Google Analytics; external functions you request, such as payments, addresses and videos, are described separately. See the privacy notice for contacts, rights and international transfers.
