Technical documentation
Description and applications
tesa® 4591 is a reinforced bidirectional weft tape for generic uses based on glass filaments laminated on polyester film. The tape is used for industrial applications of bundling, palletizing and fixing. tesa® 4591 combines strong longitudinal tensile strength with very low elongation. The synthetic rubber adhesive system ensures a safe seal on various substrates, even on non-polar surfaces such as PE and PP. tesa® 4591 has a very high tack and a short time of stay before reaching the final adhesion force. The tape also offers excellent adhesion on a wide range of corrugated or smooth cardboard surfaces. tesa® 4591 resists tear.
