Technical documentation
Description and applications
tesa® 4341 is a flexible and conformable lightweight creped paper ribbon suitable for masking work in the field of spray painting. The product's solvent-free natural rubber adhesive offers a high tack and excellent adhesion to a wide range of surfaces, such as metal, rubber, glass and plastic. The conformable masking tape is suitable for wet sandblasting and resistant to high temperatures, which makes it suitable for drying in the oven.
The excellent adhesion of fillers or paints (based on water or solvent) on the opposite side of the tape prevents any kind of paint peeling. Even after the drying process in the oven at temperatures up to 140 °C, tesa® 4341 can be easily removed without leaving any residue.
