tesa® 4600 is a self-amalgamant ribbon made of silicone and comes with a transparent liner. It is applied by wrapping the tape on itself. The merger of tesa® 4600 with its support creates a permanent water-tight sealing. No drying time required. Its flexible material can be applied evenly on any surface, including wet or hot, dirty or anointed substrates. tesa® 4600 Xtreme Conditions can also be used for temporary applications without leaving any residue when removed. The tape can even be applied underwater. Thanks to its silicone components, the ribbon has excellent resistance to various chemicals, oils, acids, solvents, salt water, UV radiation and extreme temperatures.
