White acrylic foam for industrial assemblies
3M VHB 4950 is a white double-sided adhesive tape with a 1.1 mm acrylic foam core and acrylic adhesive for general applications. It can be evaluated as an alternative to mechanical fixings in suitable projects.
Typical applications
- Attachment of stiffeners to panels.
- Assembly of components and finishes.
- Continuous joints on compatible materials, after technical verification.
To be evaluated: does not automatically replace rivets or screws: the sizing of the joint is verified on the project.
