TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

Description and applications

tesa® ACXplus 7076 is a deep black acrylic foam tape composed of a high performance acrylic adhesive system. The unique components of the tape allow a combination of excellent resistance to temperatures up to 220 °C for short periods of time, with exceptional resistance to thermal shock at low temperatures up to -40°C. The double adhesive foam tape is resistant to aging, UV rays, chemical agents and plasticisers. Tesa® ACXplus 7076 is designed for demanding external junction applications in particular in combination with adhesion promoters tesa®. The acrylic viscoelastic foam core compensates for the different thermal elongation of the connected parts, has an excellent conformability on uneven surfaces and ensures a higher adhesion.
