tesa 64908 Primerless PE foam tape, black

tesa 64908 is a double adhesive tape composed of a foam support PE black conformable and an adhesive LSE. Thanks to the thickness of suns 0,8 mm, is the ideal ribbon for fixing small components, such as emblems and entrance finishing parts.

The LSE adhesive is characterized by a high initial adhesion to LSE transparent paints and LSE plastics as PP and PP/EPDM, as well as MSE plastics such as ABS and PC without the use of primers. Reaches the highest level of membership immediately after application. In addition, it guarantees almost optimal performance even at an application temperature of only 5°C. The extraordinary performance in case of cold shock results from the damping properties of the foam support PE whether or not at temperatures below -40°C.

Thanks to its high conformability, the belt guarantees a good wet-out and a safe bonding even on uneven surfaces and compensates for design tolerances. Support in PE foam also guarantees to realize non sticky edges and consequently it is equipped with excellent transformation properties, for example for die cutting.

In addition, the tape combines a very high cohesive force with a relatively low density, features that allow you to obtain a low weight design.
