tesa 52115 — double-sided tape

tesa Softprint 52115 TP is a double-sided foam tape, specifically designed for mounting photopolymer plates with a thickness of 1,14 mm (0,045") or 1,7 mm (0,067") in the printing of flexographic labels.

The foam of medium hardness makes this the ideal solution for printing lines and texts.

Product characteristics

• Foam Properties: Highly Compressible Foam, with excellent recovery behavior for superior printing quality. Long-lasting recovery feature for long and fast runs. Low thickness tolerances for rapid printing preparation and less waste
• Adhesive properties: High adhesion on the open side towards the cylinder or steel sleeve to avoid slab movements. Enough adhesion to the plate to prevent the lifting of the edges or movements of the plate. Not growing and calibrated adhesive power for easy repositioning and, in particular, for easy removal of thinner plates. Very cohesive adhesive structure for removal without adhesive residues.
• Additional Properties: The structured liner in PP prevents the formation of air bubbles during the mounting of the plate. The blue colour indicates the quality of the foam at medium hardness.
