tesa Softprint 52114 TP is a double-sided foam tape, specifically designed for mounting photopolymer plates with a thickness of 1,14 mm (0,045") or 1,7 mm (0,067") in the printing of flexographic labels.

The hard foam makes this the ideal solution for printing solid bottoms.

Product characteristics

• Foam Properties: Highly Compressible Foam, with superior recovery behavior for excellent printing quality. Long-lasting recovery feature for extended and high-speed runs. Low thickness tolerances for rapid printing preparation and waste reduction.
• Adhesive properties: High adhesion on the open side to the cylinder or steel sleeve to avoid the movement of the plate. Enough adhesion to the plate to prevent edge lifting or slab displacement. Not increasing adhesive power, designed to facilitate repositioning and especially for easy removal of thinner plates. Highly cohesive adhesive structure for removal without adhesive residues.
• Additional Properties: The structured liner in PP prevents the formation of air bubbles during the mounting of the plate. The green mark indicates the intermediate quality of the foam.
