tesa 52016 — double-sided tape

tesa Softprint 52016 STM is a double-coated foam tape, specifically designed for mounting photopolymer plates with a thickness of 1,14 mm (0,045") or 1,7 mm (0,067") in the printing of flexographic labels. Medium hardness foam is the ideal compromise for printing solid bottoms, lines and retinas with only one foam hardness.

• Low thickness tolerances for rapid printing preparation and waste reduction
• High adhesion on the open side to the cylinder or steel sleeve to avoid the movement of the plate
• High adhesion to the plate to avoid the lifting of the edges or the movement of the plate
• Not increasing adhesive power for easy repositioning and especially for easy removal of the plate and tape
• Very cohesive adhesive structure for removal without adhesive residues
• The structured liner in PP prevents the formation of air bubbles during the mounting of the plate
• Purple color marking indicates hard foam
