tesa 51407 Standard Grade Polyimide tape 260°C, amber

tesa 51407 is a standard grade polyhydramide tape with silicone adhesive, specially developed for applications that require resistance to high temperatures and chemical agents.

tesa 51407 is used for various applications, in particular for wave welding, thermal insulation and cable winding, as well as for masking during powder painting processes, where the tape guarantees well-defined color edges and excellent paint anchoring. The silicone adhesive system of the polyamide tape makes it extremely resistant to heat: it resists to extreme temperatures up to 260 °C in continuous applications. Standard grade polyamide tape tesa 51407 is also available in a version with liner for die cuttings.
