tesa HAF 8402 is a film activated by reactive heat consisting of phenolic resin and nitrile rubber. This double-sided amber tape has no support. It is protected by a strong paper liner and can be easily cut and torn.
At room temperature tesa HAF 8402 is not viscous. It is activated by heat for pre-lamination and begins to become viscous at 90°C. In a second phase the heat and pressure are applied for a certain period of time.
