tesa 7475 and 7476 are designed specifically for characterisation tests of silicone processes. The reference methodologies are FINAT 10 and FINAT 11.

For an overall characterisation of release properties we recommend to use both mentioned tapes.

The modified acrylic adhesive system of tesa 7475 allows to verify the interaction between silicone and acrylic adhesives. In addition, it demonstrates a significant interaction with the SiH groups allowing the measurement of the degree of drying of silicone by measuring its adhesion in accordance with the FINAT method. 11.

The rubber adhesive system of tesa 7476 allows to characterize the interaction between silicone and rubber adhesives.

Both tapes develop a significant adhesiveity even on release siliconatures facilitated to achieve reliable measurements.

Product characteristics

• tesa 7475 has been successfully used for many years, both to evaluate the release properties of silicone coatings (FINAT) 10 or similar) for testing the polymerization of silicone coatings (FINAT) 11 or similar). For a complete characterisation of the release properties it is recommended to use tesa 7475 (acrylic adhesive) and to keep it in 23 °C and al 50% Of relative humidity.
