tesa 4580 is a highly conformable and elastic single adhesive tape. It consists of a white non-woven support, partially covered with a strong acrylic adhesive. The high permeability of the gas tape through the non-coated part of the non-woven support makes it ideal as a barrier solution for any type of foaming process. Air and gas can pass, while foam or solids are blocked. The foam tape has characteristics of moisture resistance and ageing. Acrylic adhesive offers excellent resistance to environmental factors such as UV, ozone and temperature. tesa 4580 is characterized by a low unfolding force and can be ripped by hand.
