The Extrudible Ribbon 3M VHB GP is a pressure sensitive adhesive, designed for automation, designed to simplify industrial assembly thanks to a constant, repeatable dispensing and in the desired format. This tape combines gluing and sealing in a single product, providing a watertight seal in properly designed components and ensuring a good adhesion to metals and plastics, including high-energy surface substrates such as stainless steel and PC/ABS, as well as a strong adhesion to low-energy substrates such as polypropylene. These characteristics are designed to help reduce the working time, production and surface preparation requirements compared to many liquid adhesives, with less waste and no need for hardening. For indoor and outdoor environments not subject to direct exposure to UV rays, the extrudible tape 3M VHB GP delivers reliable and long-lasting performance.
