3M 8991 — single adhesive tape
Subtle and conformable, our polyester ribbon 3M 8991 is a generic tape that excels in high temperature masking operations such as powder coating. Dressed with silicone adhesive, this tape adheres to a wide range of difficult surfaces. It is resistant to chemical agents and offers the same performance in conditions of a wide range of temperatures and environments.
Product characteristics
- It works in challenging conditions and high temperatures ranging from -60o F (-50o C) to 400o F (204o C)
- Polyester film offers excellent thermal and chemical resistance while maintaining flexibility
- Translucent blue support provides simple identification and positioning
