Epoxy adhesive 3M Scotch-Weld 2216, Grey, Part B

The sticker 3M Scotch-Weld 2216 is a flexible two-component epoxy adhesive that polymerizes at room temperature. It ensures a high-tight bond, resistant to both cutting and peeling, but remains particularly flexible and is therefore ideal for applications where vibrations and expansion/thermal contraction often occur. It also resists very low temperatures without becoming excessively fragile.

Product characteristics

• It retains an extremely strong bond in case of expansion, contraction and movements of small magnitude, but maintains a good resistance over time, also after aging due to environmental conditions
• The particularly flexible bond resists extreme shocks, vibrations and push-ups, making it ideal for insulation and applications in the transport sector
• The average viscosity contributes to minimize casting, dripping and migration, while promoting self-levelling
• Excellent for cryogenic fixing applications or for adhesion to substrates that will subsequently be exposed to extreme cold
• It can be polymerized with heat to reduce hardening times by 7 days alone 30 minutes
• This versatile fixing agent adheres to a wide range of similar and different substrates, including metals and masonry
