Saint-Gobain h-old P.315 is a technical single-sided adhesive tape with a 50 µm PET polyester film support and thermosetting rubber adhesive. This black master roll measures 1000 mm × 66 m and is intended for transformation into widths suitable for the project.
Construction and performance
The declared total thickness is 0.087 mm. The product combines initial adhesion, conformability, tensile strength and a typical puncture voltage of 7 kV. It is UL recognized in the E178430 system and belongs to thermal class B (130 °C).
Electromechanical applications
P.315 is designed for coil winding, insulation between layers, anchoring, wrapping and holding in motors, small dry-type transformers, capacitors and compatible reels.
Thermosetting adhesive
The adhesive mass Thermosetting rubber offers high tack and good compatibility with paints and resins. Electrical performance and sealing must however be validated on the complete system, especially in the presence of thermal cycles or impregnation.
Preparation and verification
Apply to clean, dry and contaminant-free surfaces. Before use, temperature, voltage, component geometry, application pressure and compatibility with the production process must be checked.
Available format
The master format is a transformable reel measuring 1000 mm × 66 m. Finished widths, tolerances and packaging are defined and confirmed before processing.
