The light brown DPM Tapes adhesive felt is a roll 3.5 mm thick, 100 mm wide and 1 m long, coupled with 3M 9448A double-sided adhesive tape. It can be cut to obtain felt pads and protectors of the desired shape.
Protection of furniture and floors
The felt creates a separation layer between feet, bases or rigid edges and surfaces such as parquet, laminate and tiles. It can help reduce scratches and noise during small movements.
Adhesive component 3M 9448A
3M 9448A is a double-sided non-woven fabric adhesive with acrylic adhesive, nominal thickness 0.15 mm. The support makes it easy to laminate, cut and apply the felt.
Cutting and customisation
The roll can be manually trimmed into strips, rectangles or simple shapes. For uniform protection, the piece must remain entirely under the support surface.
Preparation and verification
Clean, degrease and dry the base of the furniture before application. Check adhesion, load, frequency of movement and compatibility with the floor covering.
