fleece adhesive tape for cabling in the passenger compartment
tesa 51608 is a single-sided adhesive tape made of non-woven PET fleece fabric with rubber-based adhesive, designed for manual banding of wiring inside the passenger compartment. The soft surface reduces noise from contact with plastics and coatings, while the flexible structure follows the beam without stiffening it and facilitates assembly during production processes.
Protection, flexibility and thermal field
The product combines acoustic damping, abrasion resistance, bundling strength and hand tearability. The tesa sheet reports a total thickness of 280 µm, adhesion to steel of 3 N/cm and an indicative range from -40 °C to 105 °C. These average values should be compared to vehicle area, durability and OEM specifications.
